As an auditor with the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions (OFI), Elton “Buddy” Courtney saw the need for a quality, comprehensive computer program for the Finance Industry. In 1999, he and Roger Dietrich, a programmer and systems designer, formed Cajun Software to develop this program. Cajun Software has a proven record of being compliant in the states of Louisiana and Mississippi. Our clients can attest to that.

Now with more than 5 years of development and countless hours of testing to make sure the new system is compliant, We have released Cajun 2.0, our Web version of Cajun Software.

We have taken the processes of making loans, taking payments and working collections and made these processes even faster and easier.

Promissory Notes, Auto & VEH Forms, Insurance Applications, AD&D Applications, Payment Receipts, Car Club Forms, Gap Forms, UCC Forms, Loan Checks and our software can even print "Ledger Cards".

Full Support

Have questions? Included in your Software Lease, you will receive Full Software Support via Internet and Phone. Being on our WEB Software, you are always up to date with our latest version.

General Ledger

Now you can do your accounting with one program. Loans, Payments, Accounts Payable, Debentures, and other transactions are automatically interrogated into our Full General Ledger. Print Financial reports, Trial Balance report, and MTD/YTD Trial Balance report for the current month or prior months, and you can even make Manual G/L Journal Entries.

Collections

Skip the paperwork altogether and do everything on your computer. Cajun Software has a full-on screen collection feature. Build your own Collection groups. Create and send custom collection letters. Also you can search your collection notes, Track collections by users, even color code the users notes. If you feel more comfortable working from a delinquency report, the program can provide them too.

Debt Card Processing

We partnered with RePay, a Realtime Electronic Payment Processor. This allows you to effortlessly and securely process and store debt cards within our software. Your customers can even pay online using a RePay provided link.

Data Security

Cajun Software has partnered with a local data center that has multiple locations around the country. This data center is providing triple redundancy that will maximize your office's up time, including: Power, Network, Storage, Internet, Security and Environmental Systems. All that is needed on your end is a computer with Internet access. Cajun Software also automatically backs up your database before every Daily and Monthly close and every night.
